Journeying - the key to our fantastic 7 night holidays

We believe that there is some truth in the old Chinese proverb "the journey is the reward". There is a great sense of satisfaction in knowing that you have travelled and explored, especially when that journey has required some of your own effort.

We have put together three fantastic 7 night journeys that take you around some of the best parts of the Lake District. They both provide opportunity to explore mountains, lakes, valleys and woodland - always using the most appropriate mode of transport. Weather permitting, each day’s route is part of a linked journey, where as far as possible, we make the end point for one day the start point for the next. Each journey has a different theme, there’s a walking holiday, a multi-activity holiday and a mountain biking holiday. These holidays are aimed at adults, however teenagers will be welcomed accompanied by a parent.

Two journeys involve moving accommodation, where your bags will be transported separately for you.
