Our stag weekends are a great combination of bunkhouse accommodation and outdoor activities. With space for 20, a great kitchen dining space, outdoor fire and bbq area and no-one nearby to disturb, the bunkhouse is a fab party venue.
Choose 1 or 2 activities for your group and, if you want, add bbq meat packs, breakfast packs or packed lunches to make it even easier.

Examples of Stag and Hen activity events:
Gorge Walk in the Esk Valley
The full day gorge walk in the Esk valley provides a fabulous playground of rocks, waterfalls and pools that can simply be enjoyed for hours. It is common that you will spend the whole day enjoying the pools and water amongst only your group of friends on your hen or stag do.
The start point is at the bottom of Hardknott Pass and the day begins with an hour’s walk up the valley to get to the main gorge section of the river for serious playtime and a spot of lunch in a very beautiful location. The hour walk to get to the gorge means that you will be in one of the most remote areas you will ever have been in - which feels fantastic!
This day is one of our favourites with stunning scenery, remote location, fantastic jumps that reach up to 8 meters high, pools and there’s even a hidden lagoon. Why not try something different, daring and exhilarating to make a memorable day for everyone?!
Head-dress making, Archery & Canoeing Day
Start the day by making native American headdresses - get as creative as you want with feathers, beads and glue guns. Then its time to see how good an Indian you can be with some Archery. A great activity, lots of fun with numerous games and competitions that can be fully enjoyed whilst taking in the fresh air and scenery.
Then its time to take to the water in Canoes. Canoeing offers something for everyone - a lovely journey on the lake, go explore an island, fun and games, jumping off the rocks, are all options.
2 activity day
We find stag and hen groups generally enjoy Gorge Walking, Abseiling, Raft Building, Archery and Canoeing as these all lend themselves to bigger groups. Combine any 2 activities to make a day, or split them over 2 days.
