Activity Locations and Directions

Activity sessions normally take place
around the Coniston/Langdale area.

Directions to each of our activity locations are listed alphabetically below. To print - highlight the appropriate section using your mouse and then choose 'print' and 'print selection' on your browser or copy and paste multiple selections into a word processing document and print that.

Notes for using Sat Nav

We have included Postcodes where we can however if you use Sat Nav tools please be aware that in rural areas 2 houses with the same post code can be a long way apart and our locations are rarely houses! We have also found that what looks like the best route to the Sat Nav can be a very long way round (we have known people take an hour longer to get to a destination because they followed their Sat Nav rather than our directions/a map!) It can be useful to use your Sat Nav in conjunction with our directions, for example, pick out place names from our directions and put them in the 'via' option on your Sat Nav or use the Sat Nav to get to 'Coniston' and then our directions to find the precise place in Coniston.

When driving to the Lake District, we have found that Sat Nav systems like to take people to Coniston via the ferry that runs across Windermere. This is nice if its daytime and you've got time to spare, but please be aware that it does not run in the evenings/at night and is definitely not the quickest route
