Outdoor Instructor Training Course 2009/2010

River Deep Mountain High have successfully ran an Outdoor Instructor Training Course that gave 5 people an opportunity to have lots of fun whilst gaining a range of National Governing Body Outdoor Qualifications.

Our first Outdoor Instructor Training Course ended at the beginning of February, which meant saying goodbye to a group of students that Mike and Johan watched grow. Our course really allowed the group to develop and learn so much about them and other people, and we are really proud of what they achieved.

Since the course, Peter and Alex are successfully employed in trainee instructor positions, Hugo is working towards becoming an army officer and Kristof is back in Vietnam paddling on their more traditional style canoes and in the process of setting up an outdoor company for the local people of Vietnam. We are also delighted to be able to introduce Matt as a new member of the River Deep Mountain High team as a trainee instructor, excited about gaining some really fun experience with our groups this summer.
