Scrambling in the Lake District
Scrambling is a combination of single pitch Rock-climbing and Fell Walking. It involves ongoing small climbs up a steep ascent and although it is not clinging on to sheer rock faces with just your fingertips, you are roped up with a harness & helmet for safety. The beauty of this adventure is that it allows you access to areas beyond the casual hill-walker's reach. Up there among truly impressive scenery, your journey will take you up 1000ft to a stunning view across the Lakeland fells and a real sense of achievement.
