Sunday
Relax, explore and get into that feeling of being away from it all.

Monday
Get the ball rolling gradually with an afternoon shooting arrows on the Archery field.

Tuesday
Climbing Adventure Day - spend a day on the Pike O'Blisco doing climbing, scrambles and maybe pop to the top to catch the views. The crags are only 30 mins walk from the car but they offer lots of variety so the day can be tailored to your needs.

Wednesday
Trail-cycling in the forest or on easy bridle paths - again a variety of difficulty is available.

Thursday
Day off to chill, shop, go for a scenic drive, the choices are endless

Friday
Half day canoe journey on Coniston Water. Visit Peel Island (Wild cat island from Swallows and Amazons), encounter wildlife among the quiet bays and maybe some canoe-sailing. Then finish the week off with an exciting Gorge Walk, getting wet through, having lots of fun and feeling thoroughly refreshed!.

There are no restrictions on the combination of full days and half days, and any one activity can be repeated for up to the equivalent of 4 sessions.

Our family adventure activity bundles offer great value and service as we work with you to create a great week of activities during your stay in the lakes.

Prices are per person for a set of activities taken within a 14 day period and start from less than £29 per person per activity!

Family Activity Bundle Details:

Stay for a week or two in the Lake District and spend part of your time on a multi-activity programme put together by us that everyone can enjoy together. You simply tell us how much activity you want to do, any preferences on days and activities and we work it all out for you.

Family Bundles are great with any type of accommodation choice you make. We can help you book a cottage with Wheelwrights or there are lots of accommodation providers on our accommodation pages.

The family activity holiday prices include either 4, 6 or 8 standard activity sessions (e.g. 2 x full days and 4 x ½ days) that can be taken over your entire stay with a maximum of 2 activities within 1 day. A family should consist of at least 1 adult and at least 1 child (under 18) in a group totalling at least 3 participants. Family bundle prices may be available to families of 2 at the discretion of RDMH management.

We feel our family activity bundles are perfect for families, including the fact that often not all members of a family want to do the same thing! We understand that there may be some in your group who do not wish to take part in any or as many activities as the rest. If you let us know who wants to do what then we can work out a mix of 4 and 6 session bundles, or, if they wish to join just one session, this is fine and would be charged at our usual activity session rates.

If you already have your accommodation or wish to book this with another company, you can still take advantage of these great prices - just let us know when you'd like to come and we'll book you in.

Family Bundles can incorporate adventure days at no extra charge, premium days with a surcharge of £15 per person and Sailing too. Sometimes including sailing can incur a surcharge of £10-70 total.
